We extract this classic symbolic structure and simplify the cumbersome retro carving lines into a sleek hollow round outline, encrusting the entire ring with tiny sparkling cubic zirconia to create a shimmering luminous wreath. At the heart of the hollow circle sits a plump, creamy luster artificial pearl, the soft milky white pearl balances the dazzling sparkle of surrounding crystals, forming a gentle contrast between softness and brilliance.

The Story Behind Behind Moon Halo Pearl Studs
In the 1960s, in the serene coastal village of Étretat, Normandy, France — a small town famous for its white chalk cliffs, endless tides, and poetic moonlight — lived a quiet, delicate young painter named Elowen Dubois. Soft-spoken and obsessed with natural moonlight scenery, Elowen spent most of her youthful years walking the shoreline at dusk, watching the tides retreat and the moon rise gently over the English Channel.
Unlike the bright, dazzling daylight, the night of Étretat carries a uniquely mild and hazy romance. Every clear night, the full moon hangs low above the sea surface, spreading a layer of silvery glowing halo across the rolling waves. When the tide recedes, smooth milky white pearls are left quietly on the warm sand, embraced by the faint moonlight glow. This scene — moonlight forming a tender circular halo surrounding a pure pearl — became Elowen’s most beloved view in her entire life.
However, due to life changes, the delicate jewelry sketches were never made into physical pieces. After Elowen passed away, these hand-painted manuscripts were quietly sealed in an old wooden box and hidden in a local antique shop for more than half a century, unknown to the world.
Until the summer of 2023, our brand’s chief designer traveled to Étretat for vintage aesthetic inspiration. By chance, she discovered the dusty hand-drawn design box in a small century-old antique store. When opening the yellowed sketch paper, the elegant, gentle circular halo and pearl outline instantly touched the designer’s heart. Moved by the artist’s persistent and romantic dream, our team decided to restore and reinterpret this decades-old aesthetic.
We named the finished jewelry Moon Halo Pearl Studs.
