 When wearing silver jewelry, avoid contact with chemical substances such as perfume, skin care products, and detergents, as they can cause oxidation of the silver jewelry and damage to the crystal. For instance, after spraying perfume, wait until it is completely dry before wearing the earrings. When doing housework or using cleaning products, remove the earrings in advance.

Avoid collisions and scratches

 Silver is relatively soft in texture and is prone to being scratched. Therefore, it should be removed in scenarios where collisions may occur, such as during exercise or when doing heavy work. Prevent water contact

Reduce exposure to sweat

When sweating profusely, it's best to remove your jewelry. Because sweat is weakly acidic, it will have a chemical reaction with silver hair, causing the silver jewelry to oxidize and change color.

For daily cleaning, a professional silver polishing cloth can be used to gently wipe the silver part, which can effectively remove the surface oxide and restore the luster of the silver. The silver polishing cloth contains special maintenance ingredients. It does not need to be washed after use and should be properly stored for the next use.

Mild cleaning agent

 If the silver jewelry is severely oxidized, you can choose mild soap and water, or a special silver jewelry cleaner for cleaning. Mix soap and water to form a foam, then gently wipe the surface of the silver jewelry with a soft sponge. After that, rinse it clean with running water and dry it with a clean soft cloth. However, it should be noted that acidic cleaning agents should be avoided to prevent corrosion of the silver jewelry.

Storage requirements

 When not wearing jewelry, it should be placed in a dry area to prevent moisture from causing oxidation of the silver jewelry. The earrings can be placed in a moisture-proof box or drawer.

Store separately: Wrap the earrings in a dedicated jewelry box or soft cloth and store them separately to avoid friction with other jewelry. You can also use a sealed bag. Put the earrings in it, expel the air and then seal it well to further isolate the air and moisture.
