DESIGN INSPIRATION: Bow On Concrete
Waiting for a tram in Düsseldorf, I watched a cellist tune inside a glass atrium—his bow drew one slow arc, then crossed another, neither line touching the glass yet both shaping the silence. Behind him, a raw concrete pillar carried the same geometry, softened by shadow. That overlap of instrument, architecture and pause became the earring: two curves in dialogue, one cool one warm, suspended in open space.
