The rigid, straight architectural strips of the skyscraper were suddenly wrapped in gentle, vivid color—and that split moment sparked the entire design concept.

She realized most women’s daily lives follow fixed, orderly routines: meetings, housework, errands, endless repetitive schedules, much like the stiff, identical lines of city buildings. We often lose small bursts of joy beneath rigid routines, forgetting to seek out tiny splashes of color and warmth.
