The Story Behind Twilight Forest Tree of Life Bracelet
The inspiration for this Tree of Life bangle comes from the childhood memories of designer Evelyn Rose, hiding the gentlest moments she spent in Cairngorm Forest, Scottish Highlands.
Evelyn’s childhood was accompanied by the fresh wind and vast forests of the Scottish Highlands. Every summer dusk in her childhood, she would walk into the primitive Cairngorm Forest with her grandmother, running and playing under the towering ancient trees. The old trees in the forest took deep root in the fertile soil, with luxuriant branches and leaves, standing tall and strong through wind and rain. The ground under the trees was covered with soft moss, streams gurgled through the forest, and the evening wind carried the fresh fragrance of plants and wildflowers. It was the most healing and safest harbor of her childhood.
Grandma often held her little hand and sat under the century-old ancient tree, telling her that every big tree in the forest was a Tree of Life gifted by nature. Taking deep roots silently and growing vigorously year after year, embracing wind and rain and welcoming all seasons, they symbolize endless hope and unfading gentleness. No matter where you go or how many hardships you experience when you grow up, you will always have the strength to fight against life as long as you keep love in your heart and grow towards the sun. Young Evelyn kept these words deeply in her heart and harbored the purest affection for the forest and ancient trees.
After growing up, Evelyn traveled around and pursued her life. The busy urban life often made her tired and confused. But whenever she thought of the Cairngorm Forest in her childhood, the vigorous ancient trees and her grandmother’s gentle exhortations, her heart would regain warmth and strength. To retain this precious childhood healing and pure beauty, she designed this Tree of Life bangle based on the ancient trees in her hometown forest.
Abandoning the rigid and regular industrial design, the bangle replicates the naturally stretching branches of the ancient trees in Cairngorm Forest. The irregular round outline restores the relaxed original texture of the mountains and forests. The colorful enamel color scheme accurately reproduces the light and shadow layers of the forest at dusk, with deep blue of twilight, green of plants and warm gold of afterglow blending together, perfectly restoring the forest twilight she saw in her childhood. The delicate texture polishing reproduces the natural texture of tree bark, and every detail retains the temperature of nature and the ingenuity of handmade craftsmanship.
